Then you are exactly what we need!If you think Scouting is far from what you normally see yourself in, then there’s no reason not to give this a try. The most important thing for us at the Green Girl Scouts is to teach girls to a greater degree to believe in themselves and to dare to make mistakes and at the same time become skilled at cooperation. There is no expectation that you plan the activities, just that you want to participate in the execution.You do not need to have experience with scouts, or have experience working with children. You are a huge help simply by being present and being an extra helping hand.Your primary task will be to help at the scout meetings. This includes, among other things, to staff an activity, participate in games, and have fun in the company of the girls and the other women. Before each Scout meeting, you will be introduced to the day’s activities. If you want more responsibility and more tasks, there is plenty of opportunity for that.You will become part of a new scout group, but where there is already plenty of experience in scouting, but where new ideas and skills are welcome. There are currently 6 volunteer women aged 20-35, and we would like YOU to join the team! We are a team that often stays after the girls, have gone home to have fun.The group holds Scout meetings every Wednesday from 17:15 – 18:45.The group is based in KKFOen Skrænten’s premises at Emdrupvej 96, 2400 Copenhagen.For example, if you can’t be there every Wednesday, but maybe every second or third, we’d still like to hear from you.
