Baker Hughes is seeking a Workshop Operator

Our team performs all turning and grinding activities, on every rotor produced in our Florence workshop including Gas turbines, centrifugal compressors and Steam turbines.

Partner with the best

Developing manufacturing technology, new products and systems Set up, monitor and operates various pieces of equipment associated with the manufacturing facility requirements. May included operation of multiple machines at one time. Could also include repair. May perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements.

As a Workshop Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying on machining activities
• Being a HSE promoter
• Helping other colleagues in lifting activities
• Performing program testing

• Be a good team player and a proactive self-starter that is accountable and exhibits ownership
• Demonstrate substantial experience in turning or grinding activities
• Able to demonstrate ability in measuring items
• Be a promoter of continuous improvement
• Be able to be flexible with working patterns and shift rotations, including nights
