Working Student for Advanced Artificial Intelligence in Medical Imaging Components (m/f/d) in Hamburg, Germany

In this role you have the opportunity to

Gain valuable insights into the development work in the field of medical X-ray imaging while being able to contribute to and shape future developments.

Your role:

• Develop artificial intelligence algorithm to model thermal behavior of imaging components.

• Motivation: Improve performance, workflow and value of modern X-ray components for medical imaging systems.

• For that: Perform FEM simulations; Implementation and optimization of different neural network architectures; Optimization of performance, accuracy and functionality; Implementation on embedded system.

• Be part of an agile team of experts (software and hardware engineers) within the larger R&D organization.

• Great opportunity to conclude your studies with a thesis in a dynamic high-tech environment.

You’re the right fit if:

Technical background and education: Physics, electrical- or mechanical engineering, computer science or similar. Required: Solid Python programming skills, basic application experience of common deep learning toolboxes (e.g. Tensorflow / Keras). Added benefit: Basic experience with common FEM toolchains (e.g. Ansys) You have pronounced communication skills and excel as self-organization, independent learner.

• Salary: depending on your previous experience and your current studies, your salary will range between 14.50 €/h and 16.50 €/h
