The Siemens Fonds Invest (SFI) Fund Finance Team is responsible for the management of SFI’s Alternatives fund-of-funds, which invest in Private Equity and Venture Capital Funds for the Siemens pension scheme and other renowned internal and external clients. You will support the team in various aspects of the fund management and digitalization projects. This position will give you a good overview of the management of private market fund-of funds and the processes of an asset manager.

• Supporting the team in financial steering of the fund-of-funds (liquidity management, reporting, performance measurement)

• Participating in the introduction of new business intelligence and software solutions

• Visualizing and documenting processes to develop concepts for implementing innovative digitalization solutions

• Support our professional experts in creating work instructions (operating procedures)

• Maintaining our communication and information platforms

• Assisting on a variety of ad-hoc projects/topics

What you need to make real what matters.

• Bachelor’s or master’s study with a focus on Economics, Finance or a familiar field of study

• Interest in the private market fund industry, ideally some prior experience/ knowledge

• First practical insight as an intern e.g. in consulting, auditing, or with an asset manager desired

• Analytical mind, structured way of working and independent working style

• Affinity to IT related tasks (data analytics, digitalization)

• Advanced skills in Microsoft 365

• Fluency in English, advanced proficiency in German language
