Perhaps this is the unique opportunity you are looking for!You might be wondering what exactly a ‘residential care zone’ means A residential care zone is a community where people of different ages meet, help and support each other. Various forms of care and support are available in a residential care zone, ranging from a GP practice to physiotherapy. These zones also provide access to care that is usually only available in nursing homes. In addition, there is often the possibility of receiving professional care quickly, such as through a care organisation that can be on site within 10 minutes. The aim of a residential care zone is to create an environment where people can grow old together, with the necessary support and care at their fingertips.Working as a domestic care employee at EnvidaAs a domestic care employee, your main role is to provide assistance to clients with various household tasks they are no longer able to perform. This can include cleaning the kitchen, vacuuming, dusting, ironing, cleaning the toilet and bathroom, and grocery shopping. You have the flexibility to discuss with each client the specific tasks that need to be done and assess their individual needs. Additionally, part of your responsibility is to engage in conversation and social interaction with clients, allowing for a friendly chat or a cup of coffee. This not only enhances the client’s experience but also provides you with a sense of gratification. Beyond the household tasks, you also have a crucial role in observing any potential issues, such as forgetfulness or physical complaints, and reporting them promptly. This helps ensure that clients receive the appropriate support and attention, allowing them to live safely and happily in their own homes for as long as possible.About EnvidaTogether with more than 4,000 colleagues and 1,000 committed volunteers, Envida is one of the larger care organisations in South Limburg. We are there for people who need help to go their own way in daily life. These are usually people of age or with a chronic illness. We want them to live as good and pleasant a life as possible. Preferably at home and if that is not possible in one of our care centres in Maastricht and its surroundings (Heuvelland). • A fair-priced rental property in the Lange Akker in Vaals;
• A market-based salary of €13.52 per hour;
• A planned salary increase 2.5% in October 2024;
• 8% holiday allowance, 8.33% year-end bonus and, if applicable, an irregularity allowance between 22% and 60%;
