Role: Workforce Business Analyst, Technology & Data

Location: Central Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18/Hybrid

This role is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the Role:

The Planning, Performance & Engagement team within Technology & Data has a key role in enabling the Bank’s strategy by driving transparency, consistency, and accountability across all Technology & Data functions.   Reporting to the Workforce Lead, the role holder will play a key role in the governance and management of the significant & complex internal and external workforce that makes up the Technology & Data team.

The role presents an exciting and challenging opportunity to an experienced Business Analyst who wants to work in a dynamic workplace environment with a real opportunity to positively influence the direction and outcome of strategic initiatives, through best in class design thinking and practices. 

As a Workforce Business Analyst, you will be an integral part of the team that supports the Head of Planning, Performance & Engagement in the execution of his role and will work with key stakeholders across Technology & Data.  This will include responsibility for managing workforce changes (ensuring they are approved and in line with the target workforce shape & budget).  This will include delivery of regular reporting requirements and stakeholder engagement.

While your specific focus is on Workforce, you will actively participate in and may take the lead in coordinating activities and deliverables across areas aligned with agreed key priorities within the Planning, Performance & Engagement team.

Key Responsibilities Include:

-Engages with stakeholders to understand workforce related business challenges and provide regular Workforce Reporting.
-Demonstrates an ability to identify and interpret trends or insights and presents them clearly for business influence/decision.
-Has very strong communication skills, is confident in presenting and working with Senior managers and creates clear, concise and organised communication materials.
-Makes recommendations about potential process improvements to increase effectiveness.
-Identifies holistic solutions by ensuring that linkages between structure, people, process and technology are made.

-Operates effectively, even when things are not certain, or the way forward is not clear.  Deals comfortably with the uncertainty of change. 
-Takes ownership for completing goals, meeting required deadlines and is extremely detail oriented with good organisational skills.
-Experience working in a dynamic team environment.
-Has the ability to multitask, reprioritise and work under pressure with the appetite to get involved in extra projects as the need arises.
 

What you will bring:

-2+ years’ experience in a Business Analyst Role, with a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Excel and PowerPoint.

-Confident self-starter with ability to work on own initiative and strong attention to detail, completing tasks to a very high degree of accuracy with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and varied decision making scenarios.
-Strong analysis and problem-solving skills with ability to perform meaningful analysis. 

Detail oriented with good organisational skills.  
-Good relationship skills with ability to build productive working relationships with internal teams, management staff and external stakeholders.
-Strong written and verbal communications with ability to influence and manage stakeholder expectations.
