This role in summary

The Work Organization & Layout Engineer define and optimize work methods regarding resources necessary to the production process. He/She can be the Workplace organization Pillar Leader or Co-Pillar Leader leading the pillar strategy and performing audits.

Your responsibilities will include

• Calculate cycle/takt time and propose new line balancing

• Define standard work procedures and prepare STDW charts

• Define, evaluate and update job breakdown sheet for each workstation

• Calculate and monitor man efficiency and analyze related deviations

• Study and optimize work places according to environmental actions

• Present and discuss with Trade Unions new working layout

• Define yearly productivity planning and the inputs necessary for the budget

• Ensure STD process implementation

• Ensure adherence to WCM tools and execute audit

• Execute problem solving strategies

• Monitor and propose improvement plans for direct/indirect productivity optimization

• Provide training on new/updated standard operating procedures

• Preparing WCM audit

• Ensure continuous improvement activities

Minimum requirements

• Engineering Master degree

• Minimum 2 years experience working in an industrialized manufacturing environment

• Demonstrated knowledge and use of WCM tools

• High degree of problem solving skills, ability to identify the root causes as well as solutions and countermeasures

• Demonstrated ability to think critically and logically

• English fluent
