Duties and responsibilities related to the Wok Sous Chef role:

• Oversee the wok station, ensuring all dishes are prepared quickly, with precision, and meet the authentic Cantonese flavor profiles.
• Provide support to the Head Chef in daily restaurant operations.
• Train, coach, motivate, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance. Mentor the team on proper use of traditional ingredients and authentic methods of preparation.
• Assume responsibility for managing shifts ensuring smooth functioning and maintaining quality standards.
• Assist in the recruitment and selection process of new team members, contributing to building a strong culinary team.
• Ensure that all dishes meet very high standards and align with company expectations for taste, presentation, and quality.
• Work closely with other kitchen stations, ensuring smooth communication during service and proper coordination of timing
• Enforce strict adherence to hygiene and sanitation standards

About you 

Proven track record and experience in high-end Chinese cuisine is desired, demonstrating strong leadership and management skills to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent knowledge of food trends, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
