Therefore, the appointable candidate will need to be eligible to work in the UK or have leave to remain in the UK and associated right to work for the duration of their employment with the University, in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006.Full time, PermanentApplications are invited for the post of Widening Access Manager in the newly-formed Access and Success team within the Directorate of Student Success.This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of senior professional services staff within Royal Holloway’s Student Journey Division. You will be a senior member of the directorate team, alongside managing a range of activity to support and develop student access and success. This includes leading the management and delivery of Royal Holloway’s widening access commitments as outlined in the APP, focused on leading the team to deliver high impact outreach and widening participation activity including long-term outreach programmes, residential courses, attainment raising, and other interventions.Applicants to this high-profile position should have a good understanding of strategic issues relating to student access to, and success in, higher education, alongside knowledge and understanding of student transition into university, with demonstrable experience of delivering student access and success interventions. The role also demands knowledge and understanding of the widening participation agenda particularly in relation to partnership work, third sector organisations and the policy landscape.
