Job description
eTeacher group is seeking an experienced and skilled Website Product Manager to take full ownership of the website roadmap, performance, and optimization for eTeacher Group. This is a permanent position for an expert who will manage both brand and eCommerce websites. The Website Product Manager will be responsible for driving measurable results through KPIs, optimizing user experience, overseeing the website’s technology and functionality, and managing the full development process from concept to execution.Key Responsibilities:
- Own the website roadmap: Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for all website-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
- KPI Ownership and Performance Management: Define, track, and optimize key website performance indicators (KPIs), focusing on metrics such as traffic, conversion rates, engagement, and other critical business-driving factors.
- Hands-on Optimization: Actively monitor and analyze website performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing optimizations to enhance user experience and meet business objectives.
- Technical Project Management: Oversee the entire website development process, including gathering business requirements, writing business requirement documents (BRD), creating detailed specs, managing development timelines, and ensuring high-quality execution through QA processes.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Serve as the key liaison between development, marketing, and content teams to ensure seamless collaboration and alignment with business and technical needs.
- Technology and Infrastructure Ownership: Own and oversee the website’s technology and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, stability, and high-performance standards.
- Drive A/B Testing and Experimentation: Collaborate with the Marketing and technical teams to implement testing strategies that continuously improve website functionality and user experience, supporting business goals.
- User-Centric Design and UX: Collaborate with design teams to refine the website’s UI/UX, creating seamless and engaging user experiences that align with the brand and drive conversions.
- Content Management: Work closely with the content team to ensure that website content is regularly updated and aligned with brand messaging for both eCommerce and brand sites.
- Manage Bugs and Technical Issues: Oversee the identification and resolution of website bugs and technical issues, working closely with the development team to prioritize and address them promptly.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Stay updated on the latest website technologies, tools, and best practices, and implement recommendations to keep the website competitive and optimized.
- Project Management: Use project management best practices to oversee timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope.
- Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage website-related budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring optimal ROI on all website initiatives.
Position: Remote, Full-timeQualifications:
- Proven experience as a Website Product Manager or similar role, managing both brand and eCommerce websites.
- Strong ownership of KPIs and experience in monitoring, reporting, and optimizing website performance using data-driven insights.
- Hands-on experience in developing and executing optimization strategies (A/B testing, multivariate testing) to enhance website performance and conversion rates.
- Technical Project Management experience, including managing the development process, writing business requirement documents (BRD), specs, development timelines, and ensuring thorough QA.
- Experience with CMS platforms and familiarity with content management best practices (advantage).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and recommend actionable improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, content creators, and senior management.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
