Work Flexibility: OnsiteWhat you will do:
- The daily operation of the EEMEA back-to-back warehouse activities in order to ensure required service levels. Specifically for ELI back-to-back organization;
- Being the main contact for EEMEA operational topics and having the responsibility for the EEMEA operations if (Ass.) Supervisor is not present;
- Ensure staff is appropriately trained on all aspects applicable to run a compliant and safe operation;
- Ensure compliance with local regulations regarding health & safety, regulatory and hazardous materials, as well as internal policies and procedures;
- Support in staff development & coaching: create an environment in which the staff can excel and drive the upgrading of the talent base within the team;
- Develop and maintain together with the if (Ass.) Supervisor warehouse SOP’s in line with ISO13485;
- Enable an operation which is capable to quickly adapt to major changes requested by our external and internal customers and / or changes in product mix;
- Implement and continuously improve best practice procedures and processes to meet / exceed goals and objectives related to customer satisfaction, inventory accuracy, efficiency and budget;
- Supporting the (Ass.) Supervisor with maintaining and improving Quality output, (on-time and in-full) delivery performance and productivity;
- Proactively respond, with a sense of urgency, analyze and resolve customer comments;
- Recommend, design and layout the warehouse area and equipment together with the (Ass.) Supervisor to support business growth, new products & services and mergers & acquisitions;
- Closely work together with other departments / divisions to pursue an overall cost effective and efficient integrated supply chain;
- Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment in which all team members can work safely.
- Perform 6S audits and ensure that they are properly done and actions are followed up
- Giving input for resource management (employees, equipment, forecast);
What you will need:EducationEssential:
- Minimal 2+ years of logistical education with degree and relevant work experience of up to 5 years
- Minimal 1-year experience of coordinating logistics processes and people
Desired:
- English language skills (min. level A2), Dutch or German is a plus;
ExperienceEssential:
- Solid understanding of warehousing in terms of set-up, capacity planning and optimization;
- Experience in working in an ISO13485:2003 or comparable environment, proven experience on working in an environment where compliance with local regulations regarding health and safety, regulatory and hazardous materials, as well as internal policies and procedures is secured;
Desirable:
- Experience of working in the Medical Devices industry would be a plus;
Competencies & Behaviors
- Competent knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (preferably Oracle);
- Lean / 6 sigma experience would be an asset. A drive for continuous improvements (based on clear KPI’s) is a must and a proven track record in promoting and ensuring 6S is a plus;
- Ability to build and coach an effective team and to set and communicate clear goals;
