Our team is on the front lines of innovation in an industry that is always transforming, providing an incredible opportunity for you to grow and learn throughout your career.What we’re looking for:We are seeking for high skilled VP, Technical SEO to lead efforts to enhance organic traffic growth by partnering with product, engineering, and content teams to ensure that all Gartner Digital Markets brands, Capterra, Software Advice, GetApp and UpCity are optimized for organic growth. This leader will work with a global team team to drive our overall technical SEO strategy, including: site page structure, URL structure, schema data, content strategy, core Web vitals, mobile Web strategies, establishing SEO testing best practices, SEO analytics, programmatic interlinking, monitoring changes in Google algorithms.The VP, Technical SEO will be responsible for executing the SEO strategy across a portfolio of buyer brands, a mix of content and media types, and a global network of .com and country level domains.Why you’ll want to come to work:Implement technical SEO strategies to increase traffic to buyer sites (Capterra, GetApp, Software Advice, UpCity) through on-page techniques such as title and meta-tagging, indexing, keyword ranking overall site architecture and off-page techniques (link building, backlink profile, etc.) to get exposure while building trust and authority for our content.Partner with Product & Engineering leaders on prioritizing and implementing Technical SEO improvements.Monitor and analyze site performance and review tracking metrics to drive enhancements and provide solutions to increase search engine ranking.Research and evaluate new traffic trends and identify new optimization opportunities. Assess search outcomes related to sites or advertising/marketing campaigns.Conduct analysis for program effectiveness and uses the findings for market site enhancements and to leverage optimization of all programs.Develop an SEO testing strategy, including evaluating SEO testing tools and determining how to use them alongside traditional A/B experience testing tools.Lead a globally distributed team primarily based in Barcelona, Spain and Austin, TX, hiring and developing top talent. Manage a positive group dynamic to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment on and First Team behavior.What You Will Need:10+ years of Sales and Marketing experience, with demonstrated expertise with technical SEO and leading data-driven strategiesExpertise with SEO tools, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics/Tag Manager, BrightEdge, DeepCrawl and Majestic.Knowledge and proven experience with International SEOBA in Business, Marketing or equivalent work experience, MBA degree preferred.Experience in strategic planning and execution, with proven ability to work collaboratively and drive solutions with technical teams.Extensive experience in strategy formulation, business planning and strategy executionAbility to synthesize complex ideas into simple, concise value statements and core messages to drive increased revenue and increased market awareness.Comprehensive understanding of competitive markets and how to build/maintain marketing strategies to reach target markets.Expertise to create and execute a strategic communications plan for various stakeholders / audiences.Strategic leadership skills; ability to craft and articulate a clear, consistent vision and implement effective operating plansDemonstrated ability to create quantitative based business analysis and develop clear business strategies.Don’t meet every single requirement?
