We are currently looking for a Senior Program Manager (PM) to join the Program Management Office (PMO) team and be responsible for the successful delivery of small to large scale complex and dynamic projects regarding the racing car development at Racing Bulls F1 Team.

This role is born out of a desire to reinforce the ability and capacity of the current PMO Team, increase the knowledge and skills in planning, including implement planning processes using best practices.

• Project Management
• Oversee all project management activities associated with the lifecycle of a project, including discovery, initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling and closing phases, while remaining flexible with changing priorities, timeframes, and scope of services.
• Execute the day-to-day tasks, establishing and monitoring project requirements, priorities and deadlines from inception to completion.
• Proactively identify and resolve project-related issues with minimal direction, using strategic and pragmatic approaches.
• Implement best practices and standardized processes to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and project success.
• Support the PMO in the development of project standards, templates, and tools as necessary.
• Communication
• Interface professionally with all levels of management and facilitate cooperation with the Program Management team.
• Create a collaborative consultative work environment, with workgroups cross-departmentally and cross-functionally.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders, including Executive Sponsors, Team Leaders, Development, Production, Support Offices, and external vendors, ensuring smooth project execution.
• Facilitate the development and implementation of detailed reports to keep key stakeholders up to date on progress, issues, and outcomes.
• Professionalism
• Provides mentorship for Interns and Intermediate PMO team members.
• Analyses, documents, and shares lessons learned with other colleagues of the PMO team.
• Document and share lessons learned with the PMO and other project managers to continuously improve the team’s performance.
• Provide flexible attendance and attitude to work, both in line with the requirements of the role and any specific requirements of the projects.

EXPERIENCE

Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

• A minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing large-scale and concurrent projects within motorsport (F1 experience will be considered a plus).
• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Advanced knowledge of project management methodology including Waterfall and Agile and of project management applications (i.e. Microsoft Project, Visio and Microsoft Office Suite).
• Knowledge of program development lifecycle applications like PDM, PLM and ERP.
• Good knowledge of design and production processes in composite, metal and additive technologies.
• Ability to work under pressure to achieve targets and deliver results within required timescales.
• Ability to work with the team, external suppliers and colleagues.
• Fluent with English and Italian.
• Available to travel for 10% of time.
• Travel 10-20%
