Responsibilities

As Sales and Client Service Associate Cash Management you will support the Payments & Cash Management team in Country in any Sales and Client Service activity with Corporates and Non-Bank Financial Institutions. Thereby you will have a large level of autonomy, working on projects which are supervised by the Senior Sales or Client Service Managers. You will systematically report to the Head of the department. Products and services to be marketed will include, amongst others:

  • Accounts
  • Domestic and International Payments
  • Foreign Currency Exchange
  • Electronic Banking products and associated services
  • Liquidity Management solutions

The role requires a strong client service orientation, excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills as well as professional integrity at all times.

Tasks and responsibilities

Commercial & Client Service Support

  • Assist Senior Sales Managers with preparation of client meetings and relationship review materials; respond to client RFPs (Request for Proposal); development of pitch books and global account plans; conducting market intelligence, customer research and marketing activities
  • Support with administrative tasks such as account opening and -maintenance, Know-Your Customer (KYC) onboarding & reviews, credit applications and service implementation
  • Support cash management implementation projects
  • Ensure accuracy/consistency of client data in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tool and client referential databases
  • Follow-up on client inquiries
  • Support product related billing
  • Support the team with the performance of permanent supervision controls

Analysis of client base and commercial performance

  • Analysis of client base and product usage
  • Analyse net banking income and commercial performance
  • Prepare business reviews and ad-hoc reports

Profile required

PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Studies & experience:

  • Graduate with a Master’s degree from a Business/Engineering School or University; a specialization in Finance, Accounting or Economics is a plus
  • A previous experience in banking and first basic knowledge on cash management would be appreciated

Language skills:

  • Fluent in English
  • Intermediate in German
  • French is a plus

Technical, operational & soft skills:

  • A sound operational and commercial attitude and the ability to work in co-operation with other departments of the bank
  • Superb attention to details and time management skills
  • Analytical skills: ability to generate reports from multiple sources and to manage complex tasks is required
  • Highly self-motivated to work independently and proactive approach with clients and on broad based teams that cross Lines of Business

The VIE assignment in a nutshell

This VIE in Vienna is to begin as soon as possible, but you need to plan 3 months between your application date and the beginning of your VIE assignment. It will last 24 months.

In case a visa is necessary, please make sure your passport is valid up to 6 months after the end of the VIE contract to not delay your departure.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria, opened to candidates under 28 and from the member states of the European Economic Space. For further information (including your financial indemnities), please see Mon VIE-VIA Business France.
