This is your chance to harness your ambition, passion, and expertise to drive impactful initiatives that foster learning throughout the organisation in your capacity as our new Vice President, Global Leadership, Learning, and Development.Seize this opportunity and take the first step towards a life changing career by applying today.The positionAs the Vice President of Global Leadership, Learning and Development, you are responsible for the overall strategy for Leadership, Learning and Development globally in Novo Nordisk.Reporting to the Corporate Vice President (CVP) for the Talent, Learning and D&I Centre of Excellence (CoE), you will be setting the direction for people development in Novo Nordisk, ensuring we preserve the essence of our strong culture while helping our leaders evolving and the organisation being future fit. You and your team will be instrumental in developing and driving comprehensive, enterprise-wide leadership and learning solutions focused on the cultivation of skills and behaviours that are fundamental to the Novo Nordisk strategy and culture.Alongside your global team of over 40 dedicated employees, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining an inspiring learning environment throughout Novo Nordisk, ensuring that the company’s learning beliefs are deeply embedded within the organisation. As the owner of the Global Leadership, Learning & Development portfolios, you will be accountable for further maturing a global delivery model for our solutions and maturing our process governance model.You and your team will be working closely with senior key stakeholders across the business and People & Organisation (P&O) to ensure that the global solutions are aligned and prioritized according to the most critical business needs and together, you will ensure that new behaviours are effectively adopted throughout the organisation.At times, you will act on behalf of the Executive Vice President, Global People & Organisation and the Corporate Vice President in Talent, Learning and D&I in her capacity as the Process Owner Delegate for relevant processes in the Global P&O process landscape.QualificationsWe expect you to bring the following:

  • International experience within a major multinational corporation
  • Experience in different parts of the value chain as well as different areas of P&O (HR)
  • Adeptness as an advisor and coach for senior executive management
  • Experience with accountability for a functional area and strong track record of addressing business needs with impactful leadership and learning development solutions
  • Robust leadership background cultivated within a diverse, international setting and preferably a seasoned leader of leaders. Ability to lead and create followership both directly and in a matrix organisation
  • Solid understanding of how to drive behaviour change at individual, group, and organisational level through learning solutions
  • Strong collaboration and listening skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels with empathy and clarity
  • Enterprise mindset, business acumen as well as analytical skillset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Master’s degree in e.g. Psychology, Communication, Human Resources or equivalent with supplementary business administration education being a plus
