This is what #LifeAtBNYMellon is all about.We’re seeking a future team member for the role of OTC DERIVATIVES SUPPORT TEAM MANAGER to join our FUND ACCOUTING UTILITY TEAM. This role is located in Wroclaw, Poland and it is HYBRID role.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- You will be responsible for leading a subgroup within the OTC Derivatives Support Team Poland. The subgroup will contain several specific clients, processes, and a group of employees.
- Trade capture, lifecycle events and broker reconciliations for OTC derivatives will be in your scope of duties.
- Accuracy, completeness and timeliness of the processes will be something you will need to control for your group.
- Team members performance management and staff motivation will also be on the list of your main responsibilities.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Education requirement: higher education required, preferably in finance/economy.
- Experience requirement: 4+ years of experience, preferably in operations, in finance.
- People Leadership requirement: the candidate must have 1-2 years of people management experience.
- Strong financial and accounting knowledge is a must.
- Soft skills like good time management, ability to work under pressure, sense of urgency, leadership skills are also necessary for the role.
