Today Pyou Global presents you a new vacancy: for a leading Italian manufacturing company operating in the pet food and pet care, we are looking for aVETERINARY MANAGER – EMEA (FM.0512109.CF)The Veterinary Manager for the EMEA territory is responsible for coordinating all veterinary channels across Europe, including Italy, Spain, France, Greece, the UK, and other countries in the EMEA region. This leadership role requires extensive travel (approximately 75%), with the candidate visiting multiple countries and working remotely from any location while on the move. The Vet Manager must be highly mobile and adaptable, with no gaps in activity and a constant presence in the field. The role also involves some shadowing and mentoring responsibilities, as well as reporting to the head office.Key Responsibilities:Team Coordination: Oversee and guide the activities of Vet Managers in each country within the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth across the region, working closely with Country Managers to set sales targets, monitor performance, and identify opportunities for market expansion.Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess the performance of Country Managers and their sales teams, providing coaching, feedback, and support to ensure targets are met and exceeded.Reporting and Analysis: Maintain accurate reports for the head office, providing insights into sales activities, market trends, and performance metrics. Analyze data to adjust strategies and improve results.Budget Management: Manage the regional budget, allocating resources efficiently for the sales teams and marketing efforts in the EMEA region.Travel and Mobility: Given the 75% travel requirement, the Vet Manager will spend most of their time on the road, visiting the different countries in the region to support teams, clients, and key accounts.Requirements:Educational Background: The ideal candidate must have a medical veterinary background (e.g., experience working in a veterinary laboratory for at least 6 months), complemented by a strong commercial mindset.Professional Experience: A background in the pharmaceutical/veterinary sector is preferred, with at least 5-7 years of experience, including 3+ years a managerial or leadership role.Experience in Sales &; Leadership: Proven track record of success in sales and leadership, particularly in the veterinary or pharmaceutical industry, with the ability to drive growth and exceed targets.Language Skills: Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of other languages is a plus, especially Italian.
