We are innovators who understand the perfect harmony between nature and technology.About the roleThe Vessel Performance Analyst plays a crucial role in our Performance Analytics team. The primary responsibility is to develop methods, tools, and dashboards for data analysis, enabling informed decision-making based on Ship Performance Monitoring. This role works closely with our team to enhance performance monitoring tools through data processing, code building, visualization dashboard creation, and interpretation of results to provide actionable insights.Key Responsibilities

  • Optimize performance monitoring tools by applying advanced data processing techniques.
  • Develop and implement code to support performance analytics.
  • Design and create visualization dashboards for effective communication of results.
  • Analyse and interpret performance data to drive strategic, actionable recommendations.

Required competencies

  • MSc or PhD in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or other related disciplines.
  • +2 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Proficiency in numerical and experimental ship hydrodynamics, propulsion, and manoeuvring.
  • Strong understanding of vessel dynamics in varying sea conditions.
  • Familiarity with numerical and statistical methods for data analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience handling large datasets.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, MATLAB, etc.
  • Experience with data analytics tools and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills in English (working knowledge of other languages is an asset).
