Vendor Alliance Manager (Microsoft)

We are currently looking for an experienced Microsoft Alliance Manager to join our dynamic team in Apeldoorn.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

-Drive the business plan agreed between Microsoft and Insight
-Act as the main point of contact and linking pin between Microsoft and Insight
-Work with the internal EMEA Alliance team
-Manage strategic business relationships and encourage the cross collaboration of key stakeholders in Sales and Marketing to ensure alignment with vendor growth objectives
-Lead the in-country yearly business plan process: collect input and leverage from the global alliance team framework and align with key local stakeholders, agree on key growth initiatives, investments, MDF, execution milestones, and success metrics (business scorecard metrics).
-Own the execution of the business plan against defined milestone and metrics, drive landing by engaging with the local Sales & Marketing organisation to secure readiness, go-to-market offerings, on time launch of the campaigns, and sales execution.
-Drive the monthly and quarterly performance assessment within Insight and with the vendor and lead necessary cause corrections/actions.
 

Skills and Experience

-Solutions and Services driven individual with experience partnering with Microsoft
-Consultative and sales experience within technology (services or software)
-Proven track record of successful Partner Account/Partner Alliance relationship management
-Extensive client facing sales experience, ability to win client confidence, and deliver client demonstrations with professional authority and ease
-In-depth knowledge of Microsoft product strategy and product offerings
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Fluent in English
