Role Summary: 

We’re looking for an innovative, passionate, and talented Vehicle System Software Engineer like you to join our team. As part of the Automotive Engineering and System Marketing (ASEM) organization you are complementing as leading the challenging strategy and development of the new S32 CoreRide SW platform. The ideal candidate is experienced in SDV E/E architecture challenges, simulation tooling & OEM application development customer journey.

Job Responsibility: 

  • Supporting business users on application incidents/ changes requested on SW environment applications and infrastructure.
  • Work closely with SW product management and SW engineering to contribute, test & validate NXP system software offering necessary for world-wide customers to design systems using NXP solutions.
  • Evaluate, categorize NXP’s ecosystem tools vendors (and beyond) and SW partners to define Vehicle SW Platform solution enabling SDV Customer journey and seamless integration of our products.
  • Design, develop and/or integrate software components relevant integrated in NXP S32 CoreRide platform.
  • maintain and support relevant software components, optimize software efficiency including key performance indicators such as time-to-market, production grade integrated systems, safety & security built on NXP products.
  • Involved in designing software solutions for new features, adding enhancement to existing features

Job Qualification: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic Engineering.Bachelor or master degree in electrical or electronic engineering, computer science or relevant disciplines.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Software Development/Engineering
  • Knowledge and experience of tools used for SW architecture (UML, SysUML) Vehicle level feature behavioral model – understanding trade-offs for different hardware & software execution environments, and key performance metrics of the OEM at system/vehicle level (wakeup, boot time, safety , security, latency, etc..)
  • Hands-on knowledge with cybersecurity (ISO24434) and Safety (ISO26262) requirements, especially their impact at system level (HW/SW/Toolchain)
  • Familiar with C, C++ embedded programming and debugging
  • Familiar with scripting languages (CAPL, python, others)
  • Experience in embedded systems, operating systems including RTOS, Linux operating systems.
