Utilities Smart Grid Solution Architect – 6 Month Contract – Inside IR35 – Scotland
Hamilton Barnes are working with a worlds leading consultancy who are looking to bring onboard a Utilities Smart Grid Solution Architect.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Utilities Smart Grid Solution Architect to join their team on a 6-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional and technical architect level expertise in various aspects of OT/ADMS/DERMS/DRMS implementations. You will play a key role in the design and implementation of this project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide functional and technical architect level expertise in various aspects of OT/ADMS/DERMS/DRMS implementations such as solution architecture, System design, blueprinting and roadmap and gap analysis and system implementation approach.
- Able to support execution of engagements to assist electric utilities with management of OT (SCADA/ADMS/EMS/GIS/AMI) system planning, implementation, testing and operation
- Support business requirements definition, request for proposal development and vendor evaluation
- Support proposal evaluation, selection process, statement of work development and vendor contract negotiation
- Support solution design, documentation, planning, implementation, vendor management, testing and acceptance
Experience you will bring:
- Hands on experience on any OEM ADMS & OMS of GE PowerOn/GE eTerra/ABB Network Manager/Oracle NMS/OATI/Schneider/Siemens Grid system.
- Experience of any programming language (Python, Java, .Net) and any database (SQL, MySQL)
- Understanding on ADMS and DERMS implementation on-Prem or on Cloud (Azure/AWS)
- Understanding of GIS (Smallworld, ESRI) & Smart AMI metering
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6 months
- Location: Perth, Scotland – UK.
- Day Rate: Up to £700 Per Day (Inside IR35)
- Start Date: Immediate
