Job Description

So, what are the main duties of a User Interface and Visual Web Designer in Netcompany-Intrasoft?

Joining us as a User Interface and Visual Web Designer, you will be part of our specialized service team. You will be responsible for providing Web and Digital Communication support to a key directorate within a major European organization focused on health and food safety.

Your main task will be to design, publish, and maintain webpages according to the standards of this organization in terms of visual identity, ergonomics, usability, and accessibility.

As a User Interface and Visual Web Designer, you will:

• Preparing, reviewing, and publishing materials (e-newsletter, articles, blog posts).
• Web content editing:
• Planning, researching, drafting, coding, testing, publishing, and reviewing.
• Proofreading new content and focusing on the readability and usability of the content.
• Web design:
• Creating the layout of the website, illustrations, visuals, banners, infographics, data visualisations and dashboards.
• Feedback and analytics monitoring to improve content and user experience.
• Manage online collaborative tools.

Qualifications

What would make you a fit for the role:

• Good oral and written command of English is mandatory.
• Good knowledge of the digital environment.
• Experience in web content editing and web design.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design best practices.
• Strong command of the languages and software used to create and edit websites, such as: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, Wix, Dreamweaver, and  Adobe Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
• Proficient use of MS Office & MS 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
• Knowledge of Web Accessibility is a plus.
• Ability to understand client requirements.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Flexibility, adaptability and problem-solving skills.
• Strong aptitude for teamwork and capacity to work autonomously.
• Able to work in an international and multicultural environment.
• Creativity.

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

• 2 years of professional experience with tasks closely related to those described above.
• Knowledge of/or experience in an ITIL environment.
• Knowledge of EU Institutions (Policy on food safety and health is a plus).
