Offer DescriptionOn 18 of June of 2024, the University of Huelva issues the following resolution for the recruitment of a University Graduate with Doctoral Degree commissioned by the Research Project with company “UVera Spólka Akcyjna”, within the framework of a 60-article contract, entitled: “Isolation identification and pilot-scale cultivation of microorganisms from extreme environments for the production of molecules of commercial interest.”Principal Researcher: Mrs. [PhD] Cuaresma Franco.Where to apply E-mail[email protected]RequirementsResearch Field Biological sciences » Other Education Level PhD or equivalentSpecific RequirementsPhD in Biology with wide experience in the research with extremophilic microorganisms, in the cultivation at pilot scale and in the operation of photobioreactors. Moreover, with expertise in the planification and execution of research activities, in the design of sustainable cultivation systems ,and in the use and optimization of different techniques for extraction and quantification of biomolecules (spectrophotometric and chromatographic techniques). Contribution to scientific coordination tasks2. R+D taks derived from the aim of the project and related to the scale up of the extremophilic microorganisms cultivation, desing and operation of sustainable cultivation systems, and the use and optimization of biomolecules extraction and quantification techniques (espectrophotometric and chromatographics)3. Data analysis4. Contribution to results reporting and dissemination (oral presentations)Eligibility criteriaPreferred merits:Experience in the coordination of research activities in the biotechnology of microorganisms field.Selection processMerits based tender process (maximum 10 points):1. Academic certifications. Maximum: 3 points
- 1.1. BsC Degree in Biology (max. 2 points)
- 1.2. MsC Degree in Science and Technological chemistry (max. 1 point)
2. Proffesional experience. It will be evaluated the proffesional experience and, especially, the acredited research experience related to the profile of the contract. Maximum: 5 points3. Specific Formation: It will be evaluated other formation and specific acredited capacities related to the profile of the contract. It will be evaluated the Preferent Merit.
