In the Nordics we are an organization of 140 employees.Role Purpose:The Underwriting Service Coordinator (USC) is responsible for ensuring the accurate processing of new-and renewal business and endorsements in accordance with agreed Chubb service standards and will provide operational support to underwriting teams. The USC will also be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, brokers, and become the focal and contact point for all service matters relating to their portfolio of accounts.We are looking for candidates with experience from one or more of the following areas:
- Property or Commercial Real Estate insurance
- Engineering Insurance
- Commercial Liability insurance We can remove this one
- Financial Lines insurance products We can remove this one
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of accounts:
- perform account administration and implementation tasks and support underwriters by providing underwriting, regulatory, and compliance information and advice on program structure.
- Collaborate closely with Global Client Executives and Underwriters to deliver agreed client service standards. Based on the new target model, I believe we should delete this one or replace “Global Client Executives” with “Local Network”
- Ensure Multinational Programs are prepared, maintained, and completed in accordance with our Global Services Department standards.
- Answer questions from our international network with regards to local market practice, available products, and other regulatory / tax issues
- Issue / draft, when necessary, certificates, complex policies, invoices and other relevant documents as per Chubb Guidelines.
- Answer questions from brokers and obtain validation for locally issued policies as needed.
- Attend client/broker meetings and support Chubb’s business development activities, including presenting and demonstrating our global capabilities.
- Assist where required with ongoing Projects that are identified throughout a given year for improvement to Line or Operations.
- Ensure that quality and validation measures are completed, reported, and acted upon accordingly.
Qualifications:Qualifications:
- Preferably 2-3 years of experience from the insurance market. Experience in the multinational / Global services will be an advantage.
- Fluent in Danish and English, both verbally and written. Skills in other Nordic languages are beneficial.
- Proficient in MS Office tools and ability to learn how to use relevant business intelligence tools and business-specific software.
- Self-driven and proactive.
- Structured with high attention to detail.
- Service-minded collaborator.
