Job Description

Join us for your placement year in summer 2025! Our internships are designed to give you an insight into what it’s like to work for a world-renowned brand with a culture of support and community.

You will join a small professional Head office based team supporting our Commercial and Industrial customers with their requests. You will take part in the daily scheduling of our Field teams and all aspects of their roles.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• As a Industrial & Commercial Intern, you will be given the required support and development opportunities to develop your skills to become a key member of the Commercial/Industrial Service team (IN-B).
• Following training you will become responsible for assisting with the day-to-day planning of the Commercial & INB field team. A main project for all of the team is the continual improvement and implementation of processes.

Qualifications

Please note that to be eligible for this role, you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree – if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions.

Our ideal candidate must have:

• IT skills (training is also provided).
• Proactive.
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal.

Our ideal candidate should have:

• Ideally you will have a strong and relevant interest in processes.
• You will have good PC skills with the ability to use MS office applications. You must have excellent communication skills to be able liaise with the Associates at all levels and customers.
• You will be methodical and have good problem-solving skills. You will be self-motivated and be able to priorities and plan workloads and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will need to have a flexible approach and be able to work independently and within a team.

Contract Duration: 1 year

Working Hours: 39 hours per week – standard working pattern of 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunchbreak
