Which is where you come in.What you will be doing

  • Manage the operational activities at industrial site (Nysa,…) which includes: the capturing, processing of cost and providing cost accounting information; cost allocation set up, control and maintenance, including allocation of secondary cost at cost centre level, allocation of (plant) overhead cost to cost objects and internal activity allocation. Follow up of CAPEX and OPEX in the different investment activities.
  • Act as first point of contact for the financial responsible in the assigned activities towards the business units (BU controllers and Accounting Managers)
  • Be the Business owner for multiple accounting processes such as cost accounting, payroll, accruals, specific local compliance reports,.. Setup analytical reporting and controls of the balances and the movements.
  • Supervise, motivate and coach a team of 3-4 persons on a daily basis and acts as back-up for the Senior Accounting Manager
  • Manage end-to-end projects: setup requirements, follow up of the project, testing and implementation.
  • Identify, design and implement solution for projects in the area of Record To Report projects
  • You will actively participate to Digitalization, Automation and outsourcing roadmap and designs accordingly processes of the R2R value stream, including development of a global process “Blueprint” that will be implemented into policies, procedures, and systems.
  • You will assure successful implementation of standard global processes, evaluates end-to-end performance and adjusts as needed.
  • Design and implement internal controls to ensure a best-in-class organization.
  • Integration and setup of the fixed assets from new companies within the scope of GFS.

Connects with the external auditors on the topics under scope.Who we are looking for

  • The position requires a master’s degree in economics or equivalent by experience; It also requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar function or within a big 4.
  • Experience in a Shared Service set up before or have a strong understanding of the concept.
  • A clear understanding and vision on digitalization and automation within Finance.
  • Experience with the new technologies and a strong knowledge of ERP Tools especially in the SAP suite (FI/CO); Project management skills and the ability to organize cross functional teams at multiple locations.
  • Ability to act as a “Champion” and “Ambassador” for the project and the “change” it will bring.
  • Plan, prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • You have a very good technical background in accounting.
  • Experience in implementing Internal control and reconciliations.
  • Able to work in a highly IS system driven environment (SAP; Cognos,)
  • Analytical (analyses numerical data; challenge and summarize information; produce workable solutions)
