We champion an entrepreneurial culture to unlock full our potential by bringing energy to the world.Partner with the bestIn this role, you will be responsible for the execution of the Manufacturing activities in compliance of the Manufacturing routing, HSE and Quality.As a Shop/Plant Turning Operator, you will be responsible for:

  • Executing machining activities related to Baker Hughes products, particularly regarding horizontal turning activities
  • Checking the final quality of the activities as indicated by the Manufacturing routing by filling the inspection plan
  • Housekeeping of the workstation and vouchering worked hours applicable to the Manufacturing activity assigned
  • Participating to the continuous improvement trough the project proposals
  • Following the shopfloor policy related to the working shift, lunch break and Personal Protective Equipment use.

  • Be a good team player and a proactive self-starter that is accountable and exhibits ownership
  • Demonstrate experience as machining turning operator
  • Be able in technical drawing interpretation
  • Show ability in technical document and procedure interpretation
  • Have experience with manual and numerical controlled machine
  • Be able to report safety, quality and routing issue to the supervisor
  • Be fluent in Italian (written and spoken)
  • Hold a EU work permit
  • Be able to be flexible with working patterns and shift rotations, including nights

Desired Characteristics

  • Hold a High School degree in technical matters
  • + 5 years of experience in turning activities
  • Show knowledge of NDE processes
  • Display knowledge in machining tool kit and of Baker Hughes products
  • Be proactive in helping teams and supervisor
