Job Description:Division: Group Digital Capabilities (GDC)By joining the Group Digital and Capabilities Division, you will be joining an international and geographically spread team that, through strong collaboration, articulates the business strategy and engages the company to deliver and grow profitable products & services. You will contribute to growing our relevance in post trade by realizing the regulatory agenda in strengthening the financial industry, leveraging our franchise to expand globally, and re-architecting the post trade landscape.The Tribe you will be joining is the Screen Engagement Interface.
Main objective of this Tribe is to deliver Euroclear customers frontend services and products, in a reliable and stable manner, to monitor their activities, enable reporting and allow transactions execution.Goals & Responsibilities
- Streamlines the delivery and deployment processes.
- Drives releases to production.
- Leads and coordinates Tribe releases.
- Communicates on Tribe release status.
- Assesses and manages release components dependencies.
- Coordinates release content and effort.
- Coordinates release post-launch activities within the tribe and in alignment with divisional release management.
- Provides reporting on the release plan.
- Aligns with the corporate release when needed.
- Promotes continuous integration and continuous deployment (DevOps practices).
- Prepares & Orchestrates Release Testing (EUI)
Activities
- Drives the Tribe Release processes by;
- establishing and communicating the annual release calendars;
- scoping and planning releases;
- consolidating and ensuring the coherence of the release components included in the release;
- measuring and monitoring progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time;
- and identifying and mitigating risk related to release.
- Improves the delivery flow through value streams by improving and assessing the DevOps and release on demand competency.
- Escalates and tracks impediments.
- Collaborates with other Tribe Release Engineers to manage external dependencies.
- Coordinates with release management (entire organization).
- Facilitates system demos and solution demos together with the Tribe Scrum Master.
- Promotes continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Being the first point of contact
- For any question coming from outside the Tribe (and if required, go to the Squad Release Engineer to collect the required information/feedback)
- To report on the readiness of a Pre PROD environment/PROD release
- Ensuring that everything is ready on time and with the right quality to launch in PPE and PROD (change readiness, staffing…)
- Participating actively to the Release CoP and cascading any discussion, improvement, point of attention to Squad Release Engineer
- Taking care of the Release aspect during each PI introduction session
- Organizing and leading Go-NoGo meetings at Tribe level
- After each PROD launch week-end:
- Follow-up with all Squad Release Engineer and the Service Manager on Production state and any incident related to the release
- Participating to meetings with Business / Ops representative to provide status/feedback on open incidents assigned to the Tribe
- Work with all Squad Release Engineer to see how to improve the release aspect within the Tribe, and possibly share some good practices during the Release CoP
