Position Overview
CRH Group Treasury is currently recruiting for the role of Treasury Specialist-Strategic Projects within the team based in the Group’s head office in Stonemason’s Way, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. This is an opportunity to join a fast moving and dynamic function within the CRH Finance department.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, keen to develop their experience and to work as part of a team to support our activities in managing global liquidity and risk across the business and to drive further improvements in systems and processes.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities

-Assist in delivery of strategic treasury projects including cash and liquidity management, working capital and risk management solutions or other new services.
-Assist to identify, negotiate and deliver improvements in Treasury services across the business, including the design and implementation appropriate controls and procedures with OpCos and Group Treasury colleagues.
-Management of intra-group funding including co-ordination with the Group Tax & Legal teams.
-Support for Treasury activities and controls for acquisitions and disposals.
-Promote the Treasury function within the organisation.
-Assistance in co-ordinating and managing the Treasury Policy for Operations.
Experience / Education

– University degree in Finance or Economics
-A minimum of 5+ years in corporate treasury management
-Keen to learn and to develop their skills and a career within the Treasury team
-Knowledge of treasury instruments, systems and controls, cash management structures and payment systems will be an advantage, as will any corporate treasury qualifications or proficiency in European languages.
