About the Role:

Treasury Services (part of Customer Services) are responsible for providing operational support to AIB Group Treasury (AIB plc., AIB Group UK, AIB New York & EBS), for FX, Derivatives and Securities products, debt issuance and customer treasury products and services. The team is also responsible for the monitoring of the Group’s Funding & Liquidity positions across a range of currencies and accounts and have responsibility for the provision of Collateral Margining and Rates Management services.

This role requires a good knowledge of Treasury business and activities, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills coupled with the ability to be adaptable and operate in a deadline driven environment. The criticality of our services drives a very strong risk and control ethos, and we also pride ourselves in creating a positive working environment and proactively promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities Include:

-Managing the settlement, funding and/or reconciliation of large value/volume of transactions ensuring appropriate segregation and controls are in place.
-Drafting, Issuance and Matching of trade documentation. Working closely with internal and external Front office, compliance, and Legal teams on bespoke/complex transactions
-Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external market participants to support business demands and identify solutions to meet customer expectations.
-Participate in strategic initiatives and projects, as a subject matter expert acting as a key contract for operations.
-Develop and enhance procedures and controls to promote accountability and minimise operational risk.
-Foster a culture of continuous improvement to support operational efficiency strategic objectives.
 

What you will bring:

-Minimum 3 + years’ experience working in Financial Services preferably in a Treasury, Payments, Finance or Risk area with a good understanding / knowledge of financial instruments and markets.
-High degree of accuracy required in all transaction processing with strong analytical skills and ability to plan and prioritise effectively in a deadline driven environment.
-Proven track record in driving positive outcomes through strong communication and technical skills.
-Have a clear understanding and knowledge of risk management with evidence of operating in an effective control environment.
-Proven ability to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and provide excellent service to internal or external customers.
