The position
As Transport & Validation Specialist you will have a leading role in ensuring validated shipping process for our cold chain products in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will use your expertise and toolbox to lead validations, deliver new transport solutions and make sure we deliver the highest product quality throughout the logistics process.
As a Transport & Validation Specialist, you will:
-Design and implement compliant transport solutions and processes in collaboration with global stakeholders
-Define, author and execute complex transport validation activities (URS, Protocols, reports) according to local regulatory requirements and adherence to GDP, GMP and industry standards
-Further develop and improve the transport validation strategy to ensure alignment with the overall NN Science- and Risk-based Validation
-Support Regulatory Affairs in defining the product submission documentation strategy for transport validation to health authorities
-Develop, define and implement future strategies for transport solutions to support the Global Logistics and Distribution strategy
-Participate in regulatory inspections and audits related to shipping validations
-Coach and mentor colleagues and stakeholders to build competencies to accelerate what we can achieve
Qualifications
To be successful in the role we expect you:
-Hold a master´s degree preferably within engineering, supply chain management, or can demonstrate relevant experience and have insights into cold chain validation requirements.
-Proven expertise in validating transport solutions in cold chain for temperature-sensitive products in a GDP or GMP environment
-Have demonstrated experience in authoring, executing, and reporting validation/qualification documents
-Strong quality mindset and have demonstrated use of critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address, correct and prevent issues to make the right decisions
On a personal level, you are curious, ambitious and have a critical sense. Building trusting relationships across organisational levels is natural for you and you can influence the organisation around you. You are fluent in spoken and written English. We expect you to have a great interest in Supply Chain and validation processes and see every opportunity to improve the processes.
You are a skilled communicator and capable of making effective recommendations, as well as effectively present your findings. You have the confidence and ability to set directions within validation and constructively challenge on all levels of the organisation.
About the department
Global Logistics & Distribution (GL&D) is a central function in the Supply Chain and Business Development organisation in Product Supply, managing all cross-functional Supply Chain systems and processes. We are approximately 70+ employees in Bagsværd (DK) and 15 in Bangalore (India). The department is responsible for the global distribution of Novo Nordisk products between production sites and to our affiliates and regional offices across the globe, focusing on delivering high service while balancing the environmental footprint with the fiscal impact. We oversee and comply with all regulatory and quality requirements related to the distribution of pharmaceuticals, manage distribution costs, and performance management of our warehouses and vendors.
