This is where you can do your best work.Join us at the intersection of saving and sustaining lives—where your purpose accelerates our mission.SummaryWe believe that the way we reach and integrate with our customers from a supply perspective is a crucial aspect of our mission of saving and sustaining lives and following this mission the Transport Analyst will play a key role in our logistics, planning, reporting and cost control activities to ensure customer satisfaction.The person in this role will work closely with the Transportation Manager for META & CEEI, and support the Director of Supply Chain for META & CEEI, to ensure efficient communication, prompt action, and clear reports and results.What will you be doing?Leading the transportation analysis and planning for Baxter, including developing and implementing transportation strategies, analyzing transportation data, and identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including customer service, warehouse & distribution team, procurement, and operations, to ensure seamless transportation processes and providing recommendations for process improvements and cost savings.Collaborating with local supply chain, commercial, and global transport teams for transportation-related projects.Being responsible for providing weekly updates on Monthly distribution freight volume, cost landing across the region and maintaining and updating the Item Master Data, and ensuring the accuracy of key item data such as pallet factor, pack factor, item weight.Developing and maintaining transportation-related reports, dashboards, and other analytical tools and being a key point of contact for all transport-related queries in META & CEEI region.Providing the freight cost estimate for all tenders and projects, to the Commercial team and profitability analysis information for Air freight requests.Developing and implementing solutions to optimize transportation processes, including route optimization, carrier selection, and scheduling.Being integral in the transportation RFQ process, providing transportation forecast and lane information.Reviewing and supervising the rates and lanes in the Ocean contract.Negotiating contracts with carriers and vendors to secure favorable rates and terms.Monitoring and reporting on transportation metrics, including timely delivery rates, transportation costs, and carrier performance.Who we are looking forEducation/ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
