What you will be doing:

Onboarding and Role Based Education

As a member of the Global Education and Training team this role is responsible for the onboarding and performance management of event programmers globally. Your initial focus will be the United Kingdom market, helping to build and facilitate a training program before expanding to other markets.

Communication & Vision

  • Own the strategic vision for event programming training globally.

  • Provide regular updates to leadership with tactical and organisational departmental needs as it relates to training.

Skills Acquisition Accountability

  • Develop and clarify a framework that defines Event Programming skill level and associated working knowledge of Event Programming concepts.

  • Clarify roles and responsibilities within the Event Programming team to ensure skills acquisition and growth.

  • Research, plan, and prepare lessons to help speed up the adoption of complex and strategic Event Programming initiatives.

  • Implement and improve onboarding and upskilling processes. Create a framework around measurement of individual progression from onboarding through Event Programming job levels.

  • Implement processes to identify, test, and report on individual and team performance to Event Programming leadership.

  • Define performance criteria during the first 3 months of employment and also what advances staff from one level to the next.

  • Advise and partner with Event Programming leadership on team performance and adjust training accordingly.

  • Compile reports and present outcomes regarding training activity and effectiveness of education. This includes both delivery of material and effectiveness of delivery.

  • Receive performance feedback from Event Programming management layers within Marketplace Support.

Departmental Integrations

  • Build relationships with other departments to ensure Event Programming teams work efficiently.

  • Implement recurring cross functional meetings with Event Programming, Client Account Management teams, and other business stakeholders to track progress and identify challenges.

  • Maintain alignment with local market and global Event Programming best practices.

  • Partner with Global Event Programming stakeholders to develop and maintain Best Practice release calendar.

  • Create, implement and maintain training in alignment with the Global Education and Training team standards and strategy.

  • Create and maintain training standards and strategy

  • Work with Event Programming management and Team Leads to identify skill gaps across individuals and the department as a whole.

  • Create the framework to help set goals for individuals and the team with specific timelines for improvement and techniques for measurement.

  • Coordinate training needs and schedule with Event Programming Project Manager.

Education Delivery

  • Plan, prioritise and deliver interactive virtual & classroom training and webinars for Event Programming onboarding and continued learning.

  • Consult with global staff on Event Programming best Practices

  • Track documentation usage and evaluate efficiency and impact of work.

  • Actively improve training and documentation methods, techniques, and processes in collaboration with the team and training leadership.

    Education Team Integration & Materials

  • Create, implement and maintain training in alignment with the Global Education and Training team standards and strategy.

  • Create and maintain training standards and strategy.

  • Partner closely with Instructional Designers to create storyboards and build videos, tutorials, and other e-Learning material.

  • Produce and update training materials and user documentation such as User Guides, Job Aids, and Knowledge Articles for existing and newly developed processes.

What You Need to Know

  • Detailed knowledge of the Ticketmaster Host system and Event Programming Processes and Best Practices.

  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive training programs and methods, both live and online, including analysis and recommendation of new training methods & opportunities.

  • Ability to analyse requirements, design learning objectives, and deliver courses in multiple formats.

  • Ability to produce clear and concise documentation and articulate complex subjects to employees.

  • Excellent presentation, written and oral communication skills.

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Desirable

  • Experience in product training, preferably in software applications, and training needs assessment.

  • Experience in creating user documentation such as user guides and how-to documents.

  • Knowledge of analysing processes to implement continuous improvements and best practices.

  • Knowledge of Sharepoint, Confluence, Asana, Miro, Trello or similar tools.

  • Educated to degree level in Computer Science, Business or another technical discipline.

  • Virtual communication skills.
