Trainee Teaching AssistantFolkestoneSalary: £440 to £550 per weekStart: September 2024At Vision for Education, we are seeking Trainee Teaching Assistants to join Primary schools in Folkestone for the new academic year.You must have patience and empathy to work with young pupils with a range of different needs. A successful Trainee Teaching Assistant must have a positive attitude and good attention to detail.This role is perfect for those who have a passion for helping young pupils with learning and educational needs and looking for a career in the Education sector.A successful Trainee Teaching Assistant will have:

  • GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English
  • Great communication and writing skills
  • Experience working within the care industry or sports background (desirable)
  • Possess or be willing to obtain an up-to-date DBS check registered on the update service.
  • Good organisational skills and time management.

As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting pupils with their education, as directed by the Teachers.
  • Build and maintain great relationships with the pupils, treating them with respect and compassion.
  • Support each pupil’s academic achievements in accordance with their needs.
  • Ensuring pupils are maintaining good behaviour and positive engagement with the curriculum.
