Their understanding of the latest skills, techniques, approaches and equipment has the potential to improve student outcomes.Joining Bury College as a Trainee Lecturer in Plumbing, you will be employed on a full time or part-time, permanent basis teaching for an agreed number of days a week whilst studying on campus towards a recognised teaching qualification.The trainee programme is designed and delivered in a way that will ensure you obtain all the skills that are required to become a teacher. You will have a reduced teaching timetable and extensive support, guidance and mentoring will be provided.Candidates should hold a Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and have experience of working in an plumbing related role. Candidates should have an understanding of the latest skills, techniques and approaches to inspire our learners. Some experience or knowledge of classroom delivery would be desirable, but is not essential. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential, as is an ability to meet deadlines and to inspire, motivate and engage students.This is a permanent position and, upon completion of the above qualification you will progress to the main pay band and terms of a fully qualified Lecturer.Part time and full time applications are welcome for this role.About UsBury College is a Further Education College offering a wide range of courses to full time and part time students each year.
