Trainee in the Insurance Claims IndustryWe are seeking a committed Trainee for our Claims Department at the RiskPoint Group, an international insurance agency experiencing growth. We are looking for an individual with an interest in tort law and insurance law, who are eager to work on exciting legal issues related to liability insurance claims.About Us:On a daily basis, we handle claims across all our insurance products including Accident & Health, various Liabilities solutions, Construction, Renewable Energy, Transactional Risk. Our clientele predominantly consists of businesses.You will primarily be working on claims involving board and directors liability, professional liability for financial institutions, and commercial and product liability.What is great about the RiskPoint Group is that you will be joining a company where we constantly focus on developing our young colleagues. In fact, many of our team members started out as trainees but now occupy leadership positions within RiskPoint.Our Claims team consists of 29 members, spread across seven of our 15 operational countries. Your future workplace will be in Central Copenhagen.About the Job:You will be assisting us in providing the best claims handling in the industry. You will be given the opportunity to learn claims processing from start to finish. At the same time, you will become familiar with a range of legal issues within the field of liability insurance.This is a part-time position where your primary responsibilities will include assisting our claims handlers with registration of cases, handling claims payments, answering phone inquiries in claims cases, researching case law, and other miscellaneous claims handling tasks. As you gain experience, you will be given the opportunity to handle smaller claims independently. All tasks are carried out in collaboration with the team’s experienced lawyers, claims handlers, and other trainees.You’ll start at the grassroots level to learn about the business, but if you are up for the challenge, show initiative and a desire for development and responsibility, your opportunities within RiskPoint look bright.We Are Looking For:We are seeking an outgoing individual with an excellent service approach internally as well as externally towards clients and stakeholders.You are responsible, engaged, independent, and eager to learn about the insurance world and claims handling.You are in your 1st or 2nd year of law school, studying business law or another relevant field. We would like you to be able to work approximately 15 hours per week or 2-3 days. We are flexible in terms of working hours and time off during exam periods is a possibility.We are an international company, so it is essential that you – in addition to a high level of Danish proficiency – also speak and write English on a high level.
