TRAINEE IN DATA SCIENCE (F/M/X)

YOUR CHALLENGE

  • Data Analysis and Modeling: Apply data science techniques to analyze large datasets, apply large language models, identify patterns in data to improve the quality of preprocessing, and develop predictive and generative models relevant to cybersecurity risks in industrial control systems.
  • Cybersecurity Research: Conduct research and work with researchers on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats in the industrial automation sector, focusing on ‘signal’ and event analysis, prediction, prevention, detection, and response strategies.
  • System Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and maintaining the security of industrial control systems, using data analytics to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats.
  • Collaboration and Reporting: Work closely with the cybersecurity and engineering teams to communicate findings and contribute to the development of robust security measures.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest developments in data science and cybersecurity, attending workshops and training sessions as required.

YOUR PROFILE

  • You are in the final year of a degree in data science, computer science, or a similar field; and you have excellent academic results in statistics.
  • You know how to read and write programs in Python.
  • You know common terms used in cybersecurity discourse.
  • You possess knowledge in machine learning and AI basics; you are familiar with ML/AI ecosystem (pytorch, etc.); and you are curious about cutting-edge technologies (AI, ML, Cybersecurity, etc.).
  • You can analyze and document data science procedures.
  • You are able to conceptualize and abstract from complex topics and communicate complex findings for non-technical stakeholders.

  • The minimum salary for this position is EUR 2,800 gross per month.
    Actual compensation is based on experience and qualification
