Linklaters is s seeking a Trainee to join its team based in Lecce based team in the Employment & Incentives practice.

Our employment and incentives practice advises international and Italian clients on all aspects of employment, pension and labour law, with a focus on top managers’ employment contracts and terminations, retention arrangements, remuneration structures, works councils and unions’ relations, collective redundancy procedures, as well as any transaction-related employment law. The team also deals with contentious work, especially high value executives and managing directors’ termination cases.

The applicant must possess a desire to work within an international environment of excellence, where they will have the chance to collaborate on the most interesting deals. As part of a global and extensive practice, teamwork is essential, and you will often collaborate with colleagues in our overseas offices.

The ideal candidate should be passionate, eager to learn, enterprising, flexible, available, precise, and capable of working in a team.

Key requirements:

  • A Law Degree from an Italian university with excellent academic credentials;
  • Strong interest in Labour law;
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Proficiency level in English (C1 level required);
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel);
  • Willingless to relocate to Lecce.
