Internship for warehouse work
We are looking for an intern for warehouse work for 3-6 months. In their role, the trainee supports the daily work of the operational unit and the relocation of the laboratory to new premises. You will be supported by your immediate supervisor and an operational team of five, two of whom will work as warehouse workers and thus also as workplace instructors.
The trainee’s tasks include diverse intralogistics tasks, such as receiving incoming goods, handling and cleaning them, entries in systems and inventories, material transfers and placing orders. Assignments may also include shipment and maintenance tasks as needed.
You may be the person we are looking for if you get along well with different kinds of people, master good teamwork and interaction skills, and invest in high-quality work. You are also able to do sometimes physically demanding work and perform your tasks efficiently and accurately from start to finish.
Education and experience: We hope that the applicant has ongoing training in the field of warehousing. The job requires fluency in Finnish and, if necessary, communication in English too. We also require basic IT skills (Microsoft Office), Working hours mainly on weekdays from 8.00 to 16.00. Suitable for working daily in laboratory environments engaged in laboratory work with laboratory animals.
