The Trade Finance Sales unit, a major part of Group Transaction Banking, is especially responsible for the advisory and execution of Letters of Credit and other Documentary Business activities in Erste Group Bank AG, Erste Bank der Österreichischen Sparkassen, and selectively other local Sparkassen in Austria.Within the Trade Finance Documentary Business Sales Execution Team we are looking for a Trade Finance/Documentary Business Specialist (all genders).

Your Tasks

• ​​​You directly advise national and multinational corporate clients on trade finance/documentary business transactions e.g. import/export letters of credit and related financing products
• Conduct transactions in line with internal and external requirements in close cooperation with stakeholders such as relationship managers, compliance officers, legal advisors
• You facilitate and support on a day-to-day basis transactions including related documentary checks according to underlying rules and frameworks and manage the life cycle of each transaction, related correspondence and other activities in accordance with the working procedures

Your Background

• ​​​​​​You have gained at least a minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable function, ideally in commercial banking or within a trade finance department of a corporation
• A sound business and/or commercial education
• Experienced in negotiations and structuring financial and commercial transactions
• A motivated team player who is interested to support and grow together with a experienced and diverse team of specialists
• You are interested and keen in joining a modern team set-up and willing to participate in the process of the digitalization of the business
• MS-Office user skills and experience
• Ideally familiar with commodity trade finance transactions Ideally familiar with the UCP 600 and ISP 98
• Business fluent in German and English

• The minimum wage for this full-time position in accordance with the collective agreement with complete fulfillment of the functional profile is EUR 43.554,– gross per year. But this is just a formality – we would be happy to talk about your actual salary in person!
