As a Town Planner, you will play a crucial role in infrastructure planning, environmental impact assessment, development control, and policy development. Your daily responsibilities will encompass conducting site visits, preparing comprehensive planning reports, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Infrastructure Planning: Develop and implement strategic infrastructure plans.
* Environmental Impact Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to determine the environmental implications of proposed developments.
* Development Control: Manage and oversee the development control processes.
* Policy Development: Contribute to the formulation and implementation of planning policies.
* Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to gather data and assess project progress.
* Planning Reports: Prepare detailed planning reports for submission to relevant authorities.
* Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
* Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant planning legislation and regulations.
Qualifications:
* Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
