Job description
- Manage all project activities related to the specification, definition, design, delivery, and approval of tools for prototype and serial production.
- Support engineering changes and continuous improvement processes until the end of production (EOP).
- Collaborate with the design team on creating P-FMEA and D-FMEA.
- Develop tooling concepts aligned with the production concept and part design.
- Conduct tooling feasibility studies, risk assessments, and create specifications for prototype and production tools.
- Track tooling progress and approve key milestones during tool manufacturing.
- Perform tool trials, fine-tuning, and handover to the production plant.
- Ensure that tooling development complies with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing production tooling, preferably within the automotive industry.
- In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, risk analysis methodologies, PFMEA, Six Sigma, and DOE principles.
- Solid understanding of costing principles and models.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative, “outside the box” mindset.
- Ability to develop and execute action plans (PDCA) while coordinating cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English (both verbal and written), additional languages are a plus.
- Excellent team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in an international, multicultural environment.
