Offer DescriptionBASIC TASKS: * Designing and carrying out scientific research in an interdisciplinary approach, in accordance with the specificity of the UJ Institute of Security Sciences;

• Designing, implementing and reporting various development works, especially those related to the specificity of the tasks of the UJ Institute of Security Sciences;
• Podejmowanie działalności naukowej ukierunkowanej na budowanie dorobku naukowego UJ including:

• publishing in renowned journals and publishing houses;
• popularization of knowledge through publication in magazines and popular science publications and the media;
• active representation of the Jagiellonian University at scientific conferences;
• participation in research teams and other task forces as part of the implementation of the UJ tasks

• with significant scientific achievements in the form of scientific articles in high-scoring journals or chapters in scientific monographs in publishers from the list of publishers publishing peer-reviewed scientific monographs;

• with experience in directing and participating in research programmes;
• declaring their readiness to affiliate scientific achievements resulting from work at this University to UJ;
• guaranteeing timely performance of research and teaching work carried out in UJ,
• English at a level that allows the use of English-language scientific literature
• experience in teaching,

Specific RequirementsBASIC REQUIREMENTS: * at least a postdoctoral degree in the discipline of security sciences and significant scientific or didactic achievements,

• having full legal capacity and exercising full public rights,
• no criminal record for an intentional crime.

Karmelicka 9, between 900 and 1500 or by post by 30 August 2024 (the date of receipt of documents to UJ counts).The envelope must be sealed with the note when documents are submitted at the University’s headquarters. “Job offer – professor / Institute of Security Sciences”.Only complete applications will be considered (documents submitted after the deadline will not be considered).Please be advised that we will contact only selected candidates.
