About the JobWe seek an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our Qt Professional Services team.The Qt Company’s engineers work on the world’s leading cross-platform C++ framework and solutions which make life easy for application developers on a multitude of platforms, from embedded to desktop and mobile. In your daily work, you will be surrounded by a team of world-class experts.In this role you will be helping our customers to improve their test automation solutions and implementing new ones from scratch. Location can be either Oulu, Finland or Berlin, Germany or Paris, France.You Will

• Enhance client test automation solutions based on customer requests and needs
• Develop new solutions from scratch including integrations to surrounding systems
• Operate customers’ CI/CD environments
• Consult on Qt Quality Assurance products (Squish, Coco, Axivion) to our customers
• Provide training or workshops to the customers when needed
• Work in RTOS environments or other critical solutions
• Consistently seek out new ideas and ways to improve the process and customer experience

About You

• 3-5 years of software testing experience
• Experience with test automation tools like Squish or Robot Framework
• Experience with code coverage, GUI testing, or static analysis tools
• Experience with Git Software Version control system
• Skillful in Python or JavaScript
• Proficiency in Continuous Integration / Delivery / Deployment
• Familiarity with C++ and object-oriented programming concepts
• Understanding the tools and processes needed for modern test automation
• Intermediate knowledge of Qt, QML
• Excellent team player, with an open and helpful attitude
• Enjoy working with customers or previous customers facing experience
• Advanced English communication skills both verbal and written (English is our corporate language)

• Experience in additional scripting languages
• Experience in Non-functional testing or functional safety
