For our Irvine Scientific European Sales Division (ISED) we are looking for a
Territory Manager Bioprocess EU-East (m/f/div).
The Bioprocess Sales Group of Irvine Scientific European Sales Division is a highly motivated team of five sales professionals. The team is responsible for generating sales and achieving forecast, developing new accounts, managing existing customers, and developing promotional activities to achieve profitable growth in the assigned territory of Europe. You will be home office based in Germany and responsible for Germany and a set of assigned countries in eastern part of Europe. You will report to the District Sales Manager Life Sciences EMEA East.

Creating and executing a territory plan to meet and exceed the sales objectives for the assigned accounts.

Directing field contact face to face or remote with customers to develop, maintain, and expand existing business in the territory.

Following up on customer requests for additional information, quotes, or sample reserves.

Performing cold calls to generate and qualify sales leads for increasing the territory funnel of potential new business.

Qualifying, developing, and closing prospect according to strategic and territory plan.

Supporting European distribution network for Bioprocess – OTS products, as needed.

Forecasting business accurately to the company as required.

Giving feedback to inside personnel on changes in the marketplace and competitive information.

Developing promotional ideas and activities in a given territory to assure profitable growth.

Generating ideas for new products based on customer input and suggestions.
-
Completing call reports and any additional paperwork required in a timely fashion.

Working within the expense guidelines.

Assisting with training of new sales personnel.
-
Advising on optimal shipping methods.
-
Attending tradeshows and participating in marketing efforts
-
Travel expected at 30-40%, principally in the assigned district; others may be on request.
You have a proven track record of strong and successful sales experience with customers in process development in the biopharmaceutical industry and related segments.

Bachelor’s degree (B. S. in a Life Science) from four-year college or university;

2-3 years experience selling into the Life Sciences Market

Proven sales track record of success within current and previous roles
-
Strong communication and presentation skills
-
Must be able to travel up to 40%

Intermediate to high level sales & marketing techniques in a technical environment.

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables in situation where only a limited standardization exists.

Self-starter with ability to prioritize business critical activities.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiating skills.
