At Smith+Nephew we design and manufacture technology that takes the limits off living.The main purpose of this role will be to manage the tender cycle, ensuring a high efficiency level of performance dealing with specific focus on the awarding process and the bank guarantees maintenance, interacting with public customers, keeping all the local tools up to date with relevant details. All this process will ensure the local procurement Law and the other Laws linked in the process and will be tracked through all the established tools.What will you be doing?Ensure that all the documents are accordingly with local Regulations & tender requirements.Will ensure that all the price management in SAP, price accuracy and validity and will manage any possible price discrepancy coming from the order entry of Customer Care department.Responsibilities:Tender management (Pretender, tender submission and Post tender)Quote & SAP Pricing managementDisputes (billing blocks and invoice incidences)Bank guarantees managementWhat will you need to be successful?Education:University studies, preferable Business, Economic or Law degreeLicenses/ Certifications & Experience required:English ProficientWide experience with Microsoft Package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Power BIMinimum 3 years’ experience in tender departments, preferable in medical device sector.Good knowledge of the applicable law (D. Lgs. 50/2016 and 36/2023)Proven ability to work with, manipulate and report on large amounts of data.Soft Skills:Ownership, creativity, and open mind to challenges and propose different solutions.Deliver on your commitments. Ability to work under pressure and priorities to achieve results.Customer focusEmbrace innovation and change.Resilience attitudeBuild strong relationships.Travel Requirements:
