Each tender and contract we manage is unique; we work across business units, with various requirements and many stakeholders both inside and outside of the company. It is easy to get very passionate about the job we do. We play a central role within Medtronic and find it rewarding to create dedicated outputs, especially on Tenders that we submit and receive immediate results for our efforts. We are a diverse team of 20 colleagues with different backgrounds representing Medtronic in the four Nordic Countries.Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• In the Supervisor role you will lead and guide the specialists in their daily work, developing the team and improving processes to reach the goals agreed upon
• Work closely with the Nordic Contract and Tender Manager on departmental initiatives and execution thereof, including monitoring of progress
• As our Tender and Contract Supervisor, you will on top of your supervisor role also own your own customer area and be responsible for handling all administrative tasks from tender announcement till contract expiration
• You are the Gatekeeper for all contracts and the owner of the contract repository. Finalizing contracts, collecting signatures and loading contract prices from Vendavo to SAP, monitoring the possibility of a price increase in cooperation with the tender strategist and the business units as well as responsible for maintaining contract master data, providing statistics, maintaining and actively improving contractual e-catalogues will be some of your daily tasks
• You will be the go-to person for the purchasers for your customers in your regions and you are expected to know your stakeholders and on-going initiatives
• You will be partnering with the purchasing departments on process improvement as well as ensuring changes are implemented and coordinated both internally and externally

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 3 years’ experience from the local healthcare industry, or similar, working with tenders, contracts or procurement
• People leader experience and great collaboration skills and ability to build and maintain trust with stakeholders
• Fluent in Swedish as well as excellent English writing & verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated with attention to details coupled with an analytical mindset and ability to work with a minimum of supervision
• An ability to understand process flows, how to implement these and provide recommendations for improvement
• Proactive and able to multitask – can switch between tasks and handle multiple projects
• Advanced IT skills in MS Office especially MS Excel

Previous work experience from the medical device industry is an advantage as is negotiation and project management skills. Another Nordic language would be beneficial as would knowledge of contract concepts, contract law or regulations and experience with SAP software.
