SUMMARY OF ROLE
You will plan and coordinate shop floor activities, making sure that they are implemented in an efficient way and by the timing needed by the production assembly lines. You will work with external suppliers to ensure customer requirements are met and promptly lead any bill of materials modifications requested by Technical Dept. You will collaborate with Production Supervisor and other Production departments in general, as well as the rest of Planning team.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Prepare the daily schedule of assigned production activities based on production assembly planning;
Provide feedbacks to other Production Planners and Master Schedulers;
Accurately maintain ERP systems (e.g. changes of dates, re-work routings, etc);
Manage material modification requests and track execution of re-works accordingly;
Review exception messages in the system;
Provide mentorship and support for shortages and perform work orders prioritization;
Daily attends GEMBA walks with shopfloor management to support the resolution of issues and to relay additional information as requested from manufacturing, warehouse, receiving, shipping, quality, engineering;
Calculate critical metrics and prepare relevant reports;
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
Proven knowledge of production planning activities
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficient in MS Office, Excel is mandatory
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
Proven understanding of SAP
Proficient English is appreciated
