Are you passionate about helping and advising couples? Become a volunteer at the Center for Family Development telephone counseling for couplesDo you want to be part of the volunteer team around Partelefonen – Denmark’s largest
free phone advice line for people in relationships – and help create
greater security and well-being for couples?Partelefonen is a free telephone counseling service for couples. We opened for the first
call in September 2020 and is open on Monday at 15-18, Tuesday at 12-15, Wednesday
12-15 and Thursday 15-18.At the Center for Family Development, we work to create security and well-being in children
from the motto ‘a helping hand to the adults is a gift to the children’. The pair phone’s
primary target group are people in relationships with children under the age of 18 who experience
difficulties in their couple relationship.On Partelefonen, we get calls about many different topics such as
example communication, conflict management, loss of physical and emotional
intimacy, failure and loss of trust, doubt, difficult reconciliation, etcWe offer you…

• Exciting and rewarding work with telephone counseling for couples/one party

the couple relationship in a larger team of volunteers.

• Two days of compulsory training by experienced psychologists from the Center for

Family development, where you will be trained to sit in the telephone counselling, i.a.
based on knowledge of relationships and counseling practice.

• Ongoing supervision and theme days with a focus on professional development and

Community.

• That you become part of a permanent duty team, so that you always have someone to spar with. You

will have one volunteer shift of 3.5 hours duration on a fixed day of the week every 2 weeks, e.g
every other Tuesday 11.45-15.15.

• To become part of the Center for Family Development based in the heart of Copenhagen.

Your profile :

• You have a professional interest in the psychology of relationships and are motivated to

strengthen security and well-being in couple relationships.

• You have a relevant professional background such as psychologist, psychology student

last part of psychology studies, psychotherapist, health nurse,
family therapist

• You are empathetic, curious, responsible and approachable.
• You have professional knowledge to draw on – and you want and want to learn new things before

• You are able to listen, ask open-ended questions and are at the same time comfortable bringing

professional perspectives in play with respect for the user’s knowledge of their own life.We expect you to …

• Can participate in a mandatory 2-day training seminar:

Wednesday 4 September at 9-16 and Thursday 5 September at 9 – 16

• Can participate in a 20-minute “job interview” either:

Tuesday 20 August or Thursday 22 August between 9 and 12.30.
The interviews are either held physically at the Center for Family Development in Copenhagen
or online via Teams.

• Participates in ongoing supervision, theme days etc. corresponding to a total of 4 times a year

of approx. 3 hours duration.

• Has a fixed shift every 2 weeks of 3.5 hours duration. Volunteers come in

minimum 15 min. before the phone opens and stays 15 min. after to in his team that
round off today’s calls.

• Want to get involved in Partelefonen for a minimum of 1 year. This is important for

us, as we invest a lot in getting you dressed well for work and because we
fosters a good social and professional community. And here it is our experience that
