As technology engineer you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our innovative smart solutions that harness high-frequent sensor data. Your work will be project-centric, offering a dynamic and engaging work environment. Your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Developing innovative signal processing strategies to monitor processes/components in our machines using high-frequency signals (e.g., vibration, pressure, current, voltage, …).
  • Ensuring optimal performance and reliability through rigorous system testing.
  • Coordinating and carrying out measurements on machinery to collect and analyse the necessary data for durability tests.
  • Supporting high-frequency monitoring systems, which aids in their smooth integration into products and guarantees the efficient operation of solutions for our customers.
  • Undertaking research tasks pertinent to the subject matter.

The ideal candidate for this technology engineer role should have the following qualifications:

  • Educational Background: You hold a master’s degree or PhD in engineering or science (physics, etc.).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Experience with, and strong interest for scientific programming, machine learning, artificial intelligence, etc. is required.
  • Programming skills to test and implement signal processing strategies are necessary. Typically, developments are done in Matlab, Python, Databricks etc. Thorough knowledge of at least one of these platforms is a must.
  • Knowledge of Simulink to implement models is an asset.
  • Knowledge about embedded hardware and software (C, C++) is an asset.
  • Knowledge of systems/control theory, including modelling of mechanical, pneumatic, electric systems, is an asset.
  • Affinity and knowledge of condition monitoring in general is recommended.
  • Hands-on mindset: You are proactive and have a practical approach to work, you are action-oriented and ready to tackle challenges head-on.
  • Leaning attitude: You are open to learning new strategies to address the problem, and you are eager to gain knowledge about compressors, compressor systems, and their components.
